A: The only other charger I have tried to use for my 5s is an iPhone 6 charger, I was only able to use the iPhone 6 charger after removing my case

A: Whilst the phone is charging you're not in such demand for extreme protection. The bigger questions are: will your microphone work whilst the case is on? And will your silent feature function with the case on? As my one suffers from both these flaws! Poor purchase. Disappointed :(
